Camera setup tool

This setup tool will guide you through setting up the wireless settings on your trail camera.

How to get started:

  1. Insert AA batteries on camera
  2. Insert SD card on camera
  3. Insert SIM card on camera (make sure that PIN code is disabled)
  4. Screw antenna on camera

WIRELESS SETTINGS

Max number of pics /24h: Set maximum number of sent pictures per 24h. Value has to be between 0-99.

Sending email address is needed in order to deliver pictures from camera to another email address. Please check the settings from your email provider.

SET RECEIVING EMAIL ADDRESS

Add the email addresses for receiving pictures from camera

You may input 1-4 different email addresses to receive pictures from camera.

SET IMAGE

You may choose the Image Quality camera uses for sent pictures.

  • normal = 640x480
  • high = 1280x960
  • original = original picture size (only with HD+3G)

Image Name From: You can name the camera and it show up in sent emails. Special characters like å,ä,ö or ,./ are not allowed.

SET SMS REMOTE

You may control the camera remotely using SMS commands

Phone: Add your phone number that you will use controlling the camera (0401234567)

Status Response: Choose if you want to receive SMS replies from the camera when it has received the command.

  1. Click "Create" to download setup file MMSCFG.bin on your PC
  2. Connect camera to the PC using USB-cable or connect camera's SD card to PC memory card reader
  3. Move downloaded MMSCFG.bin to the root folder of the SD card
  4. Disconnect USB cable from camera or insert SD card to the camera
  5. Set camera to SETUP mode and press Menu-button
  6. Go to wireless settings (with signal icon) and choose "Update Parameters". Press OK to confirm.
  7. Camera has updated the wireless settings and is ready for use. You can turn the switch to ON-mode to start surveillance. Camera will now sent the pictures to your email.
